We plan to cycle on our Brompton bikes in Australia over ten week starting in early January.We fly into Melbourne on 7th January 2013 and it all starts there!
We will spend three weeks cycling in Tasmania and then cycle from Melbourne to Adelaide. We have called it MATS tour as we hope to visit Melbourne,Adelaide,Tasmania and stop off at Shanghai on the way home.
We have decided to do our own business cards to give out as we travel as this seems to be the done thing. We have met so many interesting people on our cycletours and always have to share emails details on scraps of paper.
We will be traveling on Brompton bikes which are not best known for touring so it's all a bit mad! We are doing things on a real low budget and hoping to camp or use the warm showers hosting website for most of our overnights at least that is the theory
I saw your blog on the Path Less Pedaled. I have just recently purchased a Brompton and would be very interested in hearing how your travels pan out.
